New to Freemed - how do you add physicians?

Hello,
I am evaluating Freemed for use in our clinic, and have installed it on a ubuntu 7.10 server (gutsy). The web interface appears to be working properly - I can add patients and users, but I do not seem able to add Physicians to the system. I can create users of type Physician (type 'phy' in the database), but the web interface tells me there are 0 physicians in the system.

Any help or insight into the system is appreciated.
