Greetings to all of you.
As the Director of the Foundation I'm heartened to see our community support so strong. Each day we get email's from those downloading FreeMED about working with the project. Some have gotten some email regarding participation; others, not yet.
What are the things we need:
- We need people to help program. Its coding. You can pick a piece and we'll help you along. People who are team leaders are very much encouraged. Jeff, as Chief Architect, will help you to find what you need.
- We need reports. Reports are easily written once you get the hang of it and we have some examples and tutorials. What sorts of reports? .. all sorts. Think of the questions YOU might ask (if you could) of your data.
- We need algorithms. These can be practice guidelines, office chores, bellweathers, patient helps, pay for performance and many others. We need people to decide what interests them (rather than generalities) and pick a part to do. Have a moment of long lasting fame (if you write it your name is in it forever!)
- Help with the pharmacy module. We do need some help with the e-pharmacy module which is in development both from the programing as well as the pharmacy side. If you are or have a pharmacy background, please contact Jeff or to Dr D'Andrea.
- We need help from billing folks. REMITT has been revamped. We'd like to make the program stronger in the billing area. If you have expertise in this area and would like to Beta test or make suggestions or help with some design modification (another possibility for a moment of fame), contact Dr Bradley or to Dr D'Andrea
- I would be remiss if I didn't mention translations which are being coordinated by Phil Meng of Austria. He has done a phenomenal job of making sure the resources and the people come together. If you have language skills, we want YOU! . We need translators and readers to check the correctness of these translations. WE do need your NDA/CLA if you wish to work.
There are many other areas to do contribution. I invite those who wished to 'work with the board' to drop a letter to Dr Bradley or to Dr Buchbinder regarding specific areas of interest you have with work on the board.
Those of you with Clinical correlate ideas and thoughts please write to Dr Bradley or to Dr D'Andrea about those thoughts and how you might help.
Please please Please
Sign an NDA and CLA
Without your release we can not use your material in our Open Source project. If you have questions contact Jeff .
